how come no is is talking about rooting or custom recoveries on this site?

I've have my honor5x rooted and with a custom recovery for a little over a week ago. I have to say this phone is BAD ASS! Best phone for the money! I was worry about it not have t-mobile's support of band 12 but my phone gets band 4 and its WAY better! Once the phone is rooted and debloated and a few minor tweaks it fly's, And the hot spot still works for FREE!! I'd be glad to answer any questions if anyone has any.

Hi Sean, just ordered the Honor 5X and looking to root it and clean it up, but to be honest I'm new to the whole rooting process. Any guidance you can provide me to get me going in the right direction would be much appreciated. I've never rooted any phone before but I'm not completely tech illiterate. Thanks in advance.

I'd personally love to root my device, but the lack of a barclays banking app really turns me off
