Root CM 13 update

Figure I would keep everyone updated on the progress I have been making with CM13 for the Zmax.

After beating my head against the wall trying to get it to boot, I succeeded. It is so unstable that it is utterly unuseable.

I am going to start borrowing code used for the LG G2 Mini being it uses the same SoC to help this along.

After I get it stable enough to use I will start rolling out Alpha builds.

To everyone who offered to help, I have not forgotten. I will be enlisting you as soon as I have it stable.

As for why it is taking so long.

1. I am a family man and a father of 3 teens, and I spend as much time as I can with my teenagers being in a few short years they will start college and I may not have the chance to spend time with them. And my middle kid who is a bigger Linux/Android nerd then I am is helping with debugging.

2. My work schedule has been a utter Nightmare. It will level out soon.

3. My father has been and out of the hospital. He got a heart stent about a month ago and for some stupid reason he got a infection from it. Since then he has had a coronary artery bypass grafting to remove the stent. He is doing well, but he is my only surviving parent so I am trying to spend time with him when I can.

So as you can see I have been busy.

Don't fret, I will be rolling out soon. I will keep you updated.

The phone is quite capable, it has better specs then the 2013 & 2014 Moto G. And being it has 2Gigs of ram, 16 Gigs of onboard storage and you can unofficially have up to 64GB of storage. It's a damn shame ZTE didn't make a official 6.0 ROM.

i actually have 128 GB external storage and it works completely fine!

got a download link, I understand it is not ready for a release, but maybe if you put out what you have so far, others can help with it
