Help 2.1 Market Issue (tentatively)

For those performing an update to 2.1 for your Samsung Moment using the base files from SDX, we have found that you will now have to apply the Market app fix to see any apps in the market. This is probably due to the fact that the update is coming soon and they (Google) are deleting access to old builds in the marketplace. If you update from custom roms from the site and the market fix is included please remember to follow the instructions about the time change. Link below

I had to do this earlier today. It did indeed work... AFTER I changed the time like it said. That is apparently necessary! Very weird.

The really weird thing is it didn't happen a couple days ago when I first installed 2.1 and a custom ROM, but it did happen today. Don't know why. But the fix does work.

The changes were made by Google after Saturday 05/08 as best as we can tell. LouZiffer tracked the problem down today

hummm.. i will wait until it stops working.. Mine works just fine and I even got the latest google maps update yesterday

Mine is still working fine also. I downloaded a few live wall papers today.

^ I'm with these guys. I flashed about a week ago and never had issues with the market place even as we speak.
