I rooted my LG G Stylo 5.1.1 (MetroPCS) using the oneclick.bat method and it worked. but unfortunately when i tried to flash twrp recovery i put my phone into bootloop. my computer isnt reading it because it keeps rebooting and factory resetting the phone is not working. Is there anything I can do?
Is there anyway you know of fixing this?......you shouldn't factory reset (if you had already turned on debugging mode, you literally turned it off by doing this) and if you're not on v10j OS then don't flash the v10j TWRP flash the one before it

do you know where i can get the kdz file? I wasnt able to find beforeflash the KDZ file.....which you guys are lucky enough to have...

I don't believe so because I brick my zv7 lg g stylo and I try using that method. I thought about it if anybody can give me the 6.0 system.IMG maybe it'll workI have gstylo running on zv7, 6.0 marshmallow and attempted to root it which I did using king root.. And For Some Reason My Phone Is No Bricked.. I Tried Re installing the update zip in recovery mode and that doesn't work... CAN I GO BACK TO 5.1.1 AND USE THAT UNBRICKING METHOD? I GOING OUTTA MY MIND NOW... I NEED HELP...

@6th_Hokage Do you think there might be a way to coax/fib our way into getting a kdz file from LG or Boost Mobile's Tech Support?

I sent mine in too,on Fri. The two people that I saw had returned theirs got them back within 2 weeks, Good Luck! Lemme know how long it takes and I'll let you know backHow long does it normally take lg to fix a phone. I gave to FedEx on Friday
I just bricked my Boost Stylo running 6.0 while trying to install busybox and superuser. I'm stuck with a bootloop showing a "Secure boot error 1003 modified" message. Sadly I tried the useless "factory reset" so now I can't get in with ADB.
Any ideas?
Currently trying that 5.11 unbrick guide... can't hurt at this point.
I realized that the above guide is just the system.img from 5.11 and it wouldn't help me at all, so that guide won't help... lol.I did the same thing. I had a perma-root from Kingroot after pushing the latest su to /system/bin/su and chmod 04775 the /sysetm dir. It would reboot and root would stick again and again. I messed up when I installed SuperSU and it wanted to update the binaries and when I tried to remove Kingroot for the switch it rebooted and I got the Secure boot error. I've only had mine for five days so I'm just swapping it out. They're coming Monday/Tuesday to pick it up but post up if you find a solution (it's gonna take a week to get a new one).

Everything was free. I got it through Walmart and I was within the 14 day window. I've seen some people posting about how they sent their's to LG and it was free aswell.I realized that the above guide is just the system.img from 5.11 and it wouldn't help me at all, so that guide won't help... lol.
About how much did it cost to ship?
Which supersu did you use and how did you go about installing it?
I copied my boot.img after I temp rooted with kingroot and I can put it up for you to re-flash, but you'd have to get the command and instructions from someone else as I don't know it. Also someone else on xda flashed an update.zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g-stylo/how-to/untouched-6-0-1-boost-sprint-t3285764
on top of a bricked boost stylo and it worked. They didn't have a secure boot error, but it is useful info for some bricks.
Like I said, if you can find the dd commands and methods maybe you could put my boot.img file on your sd card and flash it off of download mode, dunno, lemme kno, and I would like to know how you attempted installing and what version of supersu you were using, thx
O.K . I've been watching the supersu stuff and the only one I've seen that has made clear reference to MM was the one here on the tmobile MM root thread. Anyway, Dominic had the secure boot error and said he straightened it out, and even said the dd commands on a youtube video, but he didn't give specific instructions, just made a comment about failing until he had the right syntax. If you want the boot.img I have it, and here is the youtube, but you may just want a fresh phone. I got mine back from a brick two days ago, that's why I'm trying to get more info while experimenting. Dom's youtube-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrYQa4vUJqY
By the way Dom had a secure boot error and had an earlier youtube showing it. This above youtube isn't overly informative, but he does give a general idea of the dd command to re-flash boot.img
