Help Samsung note 4

Hello folks,
I purchased Samsung note 4 from China. Now the operating system is Chinese version. Whenever I tried to update it goes back and download Chinese version. Can someone help me to find out the solution to have English version or change the area/region.

There's a language selector in the Settings portion of Android, launch Settings, tap on the Language & Input portion (the A) and select the first bar, which allows you to choose languages.
Or, if that doesn't work flash the (official) firmware from Kies or a website such as "SamMobile".

It's definitely a real Samsung Note 4 you've got there and not a counterfeit? Because there's a lot of fake Samsungs from China.

Chinese version Samsung firmware should have English, Chinese and Korean. And if you set it to English, it should stay in English, except for factory resets.

This is true, I've experimented with several S4s from eBay, mostly Verizon.
The user I cited speaks the truth, 4/7 had an English version and the others didn't.

The user I cited speaks the truth, 4/7 had an English version and the others didn't.

US Verizon version Note 4s are not usually sold by Ebay vendors in China though. Much more likely they're peddling China Mobile versions or something, which don't have Google Services on them and the default language is Chinese, or they're flogging knock-offs, which can sometimes be Chinese only.

I got original Samsung note4. Only problem is that now it has Chinese version operating system.

This is original Samsung . In China there is no google play only baidu.
Any app I download it download in Chinese version.

You can install a VPN app and change your IP address to a USA server.
once that is done, you can get to Play Store w/o any problems.

Have you tried downloading any Apps from Amazon?
