Hello all i was just wondering in Candy5 rom and Blisspop they list Kernel Features (by CaptivateKing (xda) Rom-Jeremy (github)( https://github.com/ROM-Jeremy/android_kernel_lge_msm8226 )

-To be continued...) is there any way to use the same Kernel Features on a 4.4.4 rom i see most roms are based on the same CM12.1 Kernel but only blisspop and candy5 list those particular specs any info would be very much appreciated thank you

basically I wanted to use the kernel from Bliss pop or candy ROM in cm12 or if I can in a 4.4.4 ROM I see most of the kernels are based off the same source but those two roms list different kernel features than the rest

If they both use the same kernel source, then I don't think it would make much of a difference.

Yes but candy ROM and bliss pop list kernel features that the other ROM don't so I am assuming it is a different kernel

It's not though. It's the same kernel used to build CM12.1 as well as the various KitKat ROMs that @whoshotjr2006 ported over to this device.

So they all have those kernel features because I am running PAC ROM and have also tried cm12 and some features are not there one in particular is faux123 sound control I have the app works fine in candy or bliss pop but in any others ROM says not supported by kernel

I didnt enable Faux at the time of building, was more concerned with reliability. Some of the older builds used a different kernel.
But for the most part I stuck with kernelSanders.
I havent updated in a while, so i will in the near future...
