I updated to 6.0 marshmallow a week or so ago and it completely destroyed my wifi. I am a cable installer so I hook up 3 or more modems/routers a day. My wifi just turns off and back on every 30 seconds or a minute. I know its not my router and it with every wifi I connect to. Any ideas? Im on TMobile. Also my battery life has went to hell.

Same here, Wi-Fi went to shit. Battery consumption as well, is noticeably different. I've been able to manage some of the battery with greenify and amplify but still not as good. On the bright side I don't have any more lag when scrolling through programs or through web pages et cetera so I'm happy there. I'm sure we'll see some marshmallow ROMs pop up over the next few months that may address some of these issues, that would be nice.

I turned off Wifi Scanning from Location>3 Dots>Scanning then forgot my WiFi connection and set a static IP Address and used Google DNS for my home Wifi then cleared all caches and it seemed to help some.

My understanding is that MM defaults to ipv6 and that's the problem. I wonder if setting up ipv6 on my Router will help more going to try that next.

I have a metro pcs variant running a stock tmo variant's marshmallow.

I don't have the Wi-Fi issues.

Battery isn't improved. Maybe slightly worse. Nothing drastic. Its standby time is much better but when I'm actively using it for extensive periods I'm noticing the Battery seems to drain a bit more quickly than before.
