Audio muting!

Is anyone else experiencing this irritating problem?

When streaming Video on various Apps (inc Chrome, Facebook, IMDB) the audio mutes after 4-5 seconds. The only way to restart it playing is to pause it for over 5 seconds and then the remaining video tends to play with audio.

The problem isn't confined to video streaming though either...I use the Alarm Clock by apalon and it mutes the alarm after a few seconds and even in the Samsung Gallery App a "video" that is created automatically of my photos mutes after a few seconds too.

I thought it maybe related to an app that I downloaded so have reset user settings, then performed 2 factory resets (once restoring apps & settings, once without) yet the problem remains.

Ready to send it back but wanted to find out if I'm the only one experiencing this problem.

Forgot to say...the issue isn't constant. Sometimes videos will play the audio with no issue as will the alarm clock.

Try wiping the phone's cache partition, as shown in the video...

Thanks for the info. I will try that. Curiously, does "Factory Resetting" not clear the cache?

Tried it...and whilst it appeared promising at first (one Facebook video stream audio stopped but after a brief pause everything was working fine), I then installed BBC iPlayer and 5-10 secs into watching BBC news live - audio stopped. Its so frustrating its untrue. Think it needs to go back.

It will, but also erases everything else on the phone. It resets everything to how the phone came out of the factory.
