What I do to keep LTE working i have sprint I use APN backup and restore and I just restore each time I flash a new ROM I believe I backed up the original APN from stock ROM I never have problems with LTE or any kind of service issues

They're stable, but far from fully functional. With no way to fix it without an official lollipop update.

So what? There they have way more people working on it. As far as I understand the only difference between official and unofficial builds is that official builds have someone who has agreed to maintain it.

The key word here is /stock/ update. Device manufacturers only support a device for a certain time, then try to phase out support for it so you'll buy a new device. And the Droid 4 may be able to run CM13, but in order to get official support, you need a fully functional and buildable device tree that the CyanogenMod build team can use to roll out nightlies, and as someone said before, they usually require a device maintainer to help optimize the device-specific code.

The bottom line is, LG left our device in the dust and stuck us with KitKat. All Lollipop builds have been the work of lone-wolf devs who work on these ROMs in their spare time. If you really want to see more support for these ROMs, jump in yourselves and help us. There's more than a dozen guides out there to help you get started, and most modern computers are more than capable of compiling Android from the source.

I saw reference to a version of CM11 that claimed to be working, but that's the one I was on.

I'll try the other CM12s and see if it changes.

The camera tint is a hardware issue, not a software problem. You likely won't be able to get rid of it on any non stock based ROMs.

how is it a hardware problem if it works with the stock rom?

So one model works with stock and CM, but the other only works with stock. But what is the difference between the roms that causes the hue to be off?

I don't know the exact difference between caf and decaf, but this CM11 works for the camera issue.

I had used the caf version before, so I just did a dirty install of decaf, and low and behold the camera magically works fine.

It's fixed for some but not others like mine, the only one that seems to work for mine is an older build of CM11, after updating that build to a newer one it broke again. It's really odd.

I already tried a remix version and multiple of the caf, which seems should have had an /etc fix, but this is the only time it worked.

I believe i have working All In One apn fix for LG Volt. I now have lte and 3g which never had before. also, i might have a green camera fix. need to test more. id like to get beta testers for the apn fixer first. i got Dev Access on Filehost. Just want to make sure i was allowed to use what you have built and build on top of it.

I'd gladly test a build, although I never had any "green camera tint" issue so I wouldn't know if anything is fixed there. Any chance you would try adding OTG support? I believe the edit I made should cleanly apply but I cannot be 100% sure as I never tried any compiles myself.
