Hello,

One week ago I got this OTT MXQ Pro 4K and all worked fine. Today I started it again, but no internet. I checked the settings and I get an IP from my router from Ethernet, but I cant surf on it. I tried wifi, but I cant connect to wifi becasue the box says it's the wrong password. I tried the password several times.

So I started a Hotspot on my Samsung Phone and tried to connect my box to that network, but same issue with the password.

The box refuses my to connect to the internet!

Please help

I have seen this issue many times, and many people have brought their devices to us for fixing with this issue. Often this is either cause by one of the two issues. Firstly, this can be caused by your router. Most routers will only allow for a certain number of users. Once the user cap is reached low level devices such as phones and android tvs will not be granted access. I would try by resetting your router. If that does not work, you can reformat your device. This can be done by going into the setting and finding a tab that says backup/restore. If you click on that it will guide you through the restore process. Please note that this will delete all applications. After that you should download [removed by moderator - please don't promote or link to piracy content] This work most of the time and I hope it works for you. These devices can be temperamental at times, but are great once they begin to run right. We are always happy to help, so feel free to contact me if you ever have more questions. Cheers.

I'm having the same issue and I've reset it and have reset my router. Would I be able to send my box to you all and have it fixed also?

Is WiFi actually turned on in settings?

I lost my WiFi on my box a while back. I couldn't get the WiFi to turn on in settings but the wired LAN connection worked just fine.

Resetting the box to factory settings worked for me which surprised me but I was grateful for that!

If this doesn't fix your problem it's worth checking in the Android settings that whatever connection you choose is actually turned on.
