Root Will there be a possibility of a kernel for MM

out of curiousity, will there be the development of a kernel for the MM ? any help needed in creating and testing. i am fully available and willing =]

I think what he meant was a custom kernel. it would be awesome to see a dev. come along and help us out.

I assumed custom roms based on 6.0 were already in the works but truthfully since all variants can get 6.0 one way or another (im think of meteo users we can flash the tmo version of 6.0) i hope devs wait for 7.0 (something i doubt any variant of the stylo will get)

Oops I didn't realise this thread was in the stylo section my bad. I just switched from the AF app to Tapatalk and apparently it still has me subscribed to threads and subforums that I unsubscribed from months ago. I've only seen one person mention they may be working on CM13 for the Stylo but nobody else. The dev who did Katana/Lollipop and some other dev work for the Stylo left and hasn't been seen since last year. I don't know if we will see anyone else stepping up to make custom Roms or Kernels or anything else.

Hmm. Well if that's true that would suck but were in a better position already than some phone users. I once had a device that only had 5 posts in a forum and finding root was all that was accomplished and even then someone just discovered it worked with kingroot and made a post letting every one else know

And i hope that guy is okay (considering it sounds like he just vanished one day)

Yeah, he hasn't posted in a while. His ROM, Katana is an excellent ROM and he also included separate flashable zips for any LG apps that some people still wanted. Hopefully, he comes back but it's probably a long shot.

very true. i remember from the days when i would help playfulGod with the LG Esteem. with never forger his 2.2 plague kernel on a single core, it was heavenly. and some other features. im mainly into speed than looks and currently studying for the MCAT can't confuse my brain with all these scripts and codings. but yeah. a simple kernel of 1.5 would be sufficient for this device to fly. and definitely worth donating towards
