so i know that the bootloader is locked on these devices as far as adb commands go it just reboots the phone but obviously its accessible through the hard key functions such as power and vol down.... but comp wont recognize there is even a device plugged in while in fastboot is there anyone who had successfully gotten a pc to connet to the device in fastboot if so how and if not how can we find out why and fix it with a script i can attemp to pull any files if someone thinks they have a solution to the problem

Fastboot is mainly for repair purposes only and may be hazardous to tamper with your devices system files using this method, I strongly advise against it and warn you that it may cause a bricked device or worse a dead device, also I implore toa you that I do not see you achieving anything you are hoping to accomplish in doing so,especially sprint and boost mobile variant with there new S.Linux security, you might be setting yourself up for a big disappointment, but if you've done your research and feel you can broidge this gap,it your choice;you have been warned, good luck!

Before I sent mine to lg, I was able to have the computer see it using the LG UP for Store (or another tool simular for flashing KDZ) made for the G4, however that tool is for non-sprint devices and wants to connect on the wrong port.

It shows "unknown device - LGS770" or something like that. It won't continue since its for the G4 but it does show that it recognised the device.

I have my Boost Stylo back, a lUbuntu machine setup for Android, and a Win8.1 machine with LG drivers. I'm fairly knowledgeable with oversized calculators so I'm onboard if you need.

Lg root tool.zip inside this zip is a file named ports.bat this will truely show if your device reads up at all by the pc,if it isn't recognized through the ports.bat did you already try downloading tha lg universal usb drivers installer and finally if all else fails to get your lg to be recognized by the pc...did you try a different usb cable?

That files is not for Boost.

Phone is reconised fine, for me, in Linux and Win.
"adb devices" shows it and I can push files.
What we are trying to do is boot to fastboot and/or unlock the bootloader on Boost.
"fastboot oem unlock" (i forget the exact command) will not do that on Boost.

For any kind of change of that matter on a LG stylo s770 to the best of my recollection would have to be done before the 6.0 Marshmallow update otherwise you will get a message that says-*nice to meet you my name is laff!
Or worse a real pain in the ass bootloop, and from what I've heard after you fall pray to this it's stuck until they find a way to unbrick it.

And when I owned my LGs770 if i remember right the oem unlock was in the developers option matter of fact I'm more than a 100% sure oem unlock was an option in developers option or if your device has oem unlock in the system update option than your still running lollipop and quite possibly be able to do what you are trying to achieve if not you are regrettably going to be stuck with that 4gb of system data ghost cache in the misc. Folder Is now what I come to conclude why your trying to do and what so many of us developers have tried so hard and sadly came up short to accomplish is root system access, well if your persistent be my guest but you might only be headed towards a bricked device.sorry to be so pessimistic.
