64 bit soc with 32 bit kitkat

hi.my phone (xperia e4g) has a 64 bit soc with arm8 arch.but the OS is the 4.4.4 kitkat 32 bit.
i have some questions:is that 64 bit soc practicaly useless within 32 os? it will works like 32 bit soc?
what if i try to run a 64 bit app,the 32 bit OS will stop it?
and finaly any benefit from 64 bit soc within 32 OS? tnx

Thats a very good question.. from my understanding it will operate like a standard 32 bit system. The apps will default to 32. The use of 64 is if the os is updated haha. Of course someone please correct me if im wrong. Im by no means an expert...

Don't think there are any 64 bit specific Android apps are there? Not from the usual app sources like Play, and not unless you specifically build them yourself.

In fact 64 bit is only really important if the device has more than 4GB of addressable RAM. Which an Xperia E4g does NOT have. It's only 1GB RAM. So it's academic really. It's only really this year, that a few high-end phones and tablets are starting to have even 4GB of RAM, e.g. Samsung S7 Edge, Oppo R9 Plus.

i have an app 64 bit, the droidfish for arm8 arch,actualy there are 2 options for 32 or 64 bit of this package
i dont know which of the two is running,and finaly cant one 64 bit app run with 32 bit os?
whats the purpose of that e4g to make a 64 bit soc then tnx.

UPDATE: i tried the 64 bit version of droidfish and doesnt work under 64 bit soc and kitkat, only the 32 bit version works
conclusion: if u want 64 bit then :64 bit soc+64 bit os+64 bit app !

That's just one of the advantages of 64-bit processing, the ability to address more than 4096MB of memory. A 64-bit SOC brings several more general advantages to the table in terms of processing efficiency and speed of calculation/process execution.
