Nope you would/could get charge full price for the EVO, now if you are willing to pay additional to have a second line you can always do that and once you get your mail in rebate change the phone to your main line. My youngest brother works for Burger King and he gets a 23% corporate discounts on all Sprint plans and no activation fee, he has two lines and for the past 2 years he has been doing the following; he would open a new line (second line on his 1500 data shared) to get the phone that he wants and at month 3 he will flip the phones, then at 12 months he would cancel the second line and pay the ETF $140.00 which means that he paid $179.99 + $140.00= $319.99 yeah pretty high for a phone yet still $100.00 less than the retail price and he didn't have to worry about not been able to get the phone he likes/wants.
