HTC 10 Predictive Text

Hi

I have the new HTC10 and just have one small anoying thing. When you have the predictive text on can yo get rid of the colour that is surrounding it when enetering the word. Myself do not like the colour green which it is showingand I know not a great problem, but would like to know if there is an answer. I know I could always turn the predictive text off

Welcome to the Android Forums Tynecub. I don't know if it's because I have an unlocked HTC 10 and didn't transfer over anything from my M8 but I don't seem to have predictive text at all. The only time i see a word pop up at the top of the keyboard is when I spell something wrong and it shows the word with a circled + sign in front of it asking if I want to add that word. Anyway you can change the look of the keyboard by using themes. Tap on that left most icon hat looks like a mutant smiley face then tap on Themes. Right know I'm using Neon Blue.

I was going to suggest a different keyboard such as the stock Google Keyboard. Personally, I'm not thrilled with the TouchPal keyboard that HTC decided to go with.

Tried Google, moving on to Swype. What the heck happened to Auto-suggest?

That's better. Swype had what I need.
