Help Mobile Radio

My girlfriend recently lost signal on her mobile network, data, texts everything. I am on the same network, have the same phone model, and live in relatively close proximity to her (And Im not experiencing any problems). After following all the actions recommended by the network and it's forum members (reboot, manual roam, SIM card swap, even a factory reset) she still has no signal. I am now starting to think it may be a hardware problem with the Mobile Radio (hope I'm getting the name correct)

Is there any process, program or utility which can be used to check for hardware failures or error's?

Does your sim in her phone work and hers in yours? What model is the phone. If your sim doesn't work in her phone chances are yea, the phones done, especially if a factory reset didn't fix as that should reset any settings accidentally changed.

Depending on the device and firmware version you can look up the code to get into the service menu and test all aspects of the phone, including modem etc I think.

I'm voting for this as the Best Answer, simply because you and your GF have the same identical phones.

just swap the SIM cards... you will have your answer in less than 10 minutes.

Did she get the phone new or second hand? If second hand, probably worth checking the phone isn't blacklisted.

To be fair, the OP said he tried it, but didn't say whether or not his sim worked in her phone.
