I think he meant apps for the phone.

Personally I prefer the official facebook app Facebook for Android (Facebook for Android v1.0.1 Application for Android | Social) I'm never far away from a laptop so I don't need a feature heavy app and prefer it's liteweight, status update only features (as well as being to upload photos on the move.

I think one of the more professional and feature heavy apps is bloo (Bloo - Native Facebook App v1.3.8b Application for Android | Social) You can do nearly everything the desktop web browser can do with this app. Upload photos, tag friends, download photos to your phone and is very solid. Plus the pro version is only 99cents

Thats what any of the apps do. They never log you out. You must have some bad luck.
