Help HELP! Tablet crashing

Ok so some things you should know
1) it is a a Samsung galaxy tab s 8.4 approximately 1 year old.
2) rooted with king root
So I have been having a problem and that is that it will randomly shut down and the screen will freeze up also when it shuts itself down you need to connect it to a charger even if at 100% wait 10 minutes and it will start up!
MY WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED SO PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Common issue. Either the battery is bad or the connection at the battery needs to be soldered.

How do I fix this without sending it back as a couple months back I had a similar issue and they did something with the battery and it was fine for a couple months

I tried the develepor options thing and for now that seems to have fixed the problem if it reoccurs I'll take it to frys and do the soddering thing but THANKS SO MUCH
