Hello Forum,
I have a LG Vs980 that the USB port stopped working on. Verizon convinced me that a factory reset would fix it. It did not. I replaced the USB port and it still does not connect to a computer or charge. Since I have some data on the phone I would like to retrieve, I am looking for troubleshooting tips. Is there a way to check USB voltages and determine if the motherboard has a bad component not supplying voltage, preventing the USB from being recognized? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
