Help LG G5 icons hovering over screen? (Glitch)

This morning I woke up to find that some icons/display bars on my screen were constantly hovering in places where they shouldn't have been; such as whenever the UI goes dim for the notifications bar or all apps feature. I've backed up all my data and done a factory reset but the issue hasn't stopped.
Was wondering if anyone could help at all, these icons are really annoying! In the first picture, they appear in the top bar too.

Edit: it seems the glitch won't appear in screen shots, sorry guys!

Any way you can take a picture of the screen to show us?

Have you banged/dropped it at all? Unfortunately, any screen defects/problems which don't show up in screenshots are generally hardware issues as opposed to software . If they're still there after a factory reset, I'd think about a warranty return.

Is it a carrier branded phone or unbranded?

I'll see if I can get a pic on another phone in a minute but the weird thing is that now it's showing up less - becoming more transparent. Only got it about a month ago and haven't dropped it at all, and I don't recall hitting it on anything either. It's not branded by a carrier but I did get it as an upgrade phone via EE.
(Managed to take soms pictures. Near the 'clear all' text you can see some of the hovering icons, but they're a lot more transparent than they were a couple hours ago)

It's hard to see as my monitor at work is pants, but it sounds looks like screen burn in? As that seldom happens on LCD screens of the age I presume your G5 is, I'd be inclined to say it's a faulty screen.

There are some folk who experience similar issues here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/help/screen-burn-t3364676

EE have always been pretty good with me with regards to warranty returns so it may be worth giving them a call and seeing what they say. If you have clone phone, they'll swap the phone out no questions and you'll have a replacement tomorrow (if you want to pay an excess).

Not sure I'm seeing it either, aside from the 3 icons at the bottom (the "triangle, circle and square" icons)
Yep, those are pretty much the exact issues I'm having! Will definitely call EE today to see what can be done but it's a shame this has happened already... Plus, like some other users in that thread, I always keep my brightness at around 40% too so it probably is a faulty screen like you say. I'll post any updates but thanks for the help!
