Accessories slimmest case?

does anyone know what the slimmest case available for the incredible is? i want something that gives a reasonable amount of protection but i really want to preserve the thinness of the phone. preferably a matte feel versus hard shell/metal/leather case.

I have tried two cases, the Bodyglove and the stock Verizon silicone case. The silicone is better for what you are looking for. It is relatively slim compared to the Bodyglove and has a nice tactile feel to it. The silicone's only drawback, imo, is the protection around the 3.5mm jack is a bit bulky, making it difficult to insert an input. There are two remedies that I know of:

1. Modify the case by removing some of the silicone or

2. Buy a slim aux jack. This is the route I went. The shure se530 earbuds I purchased a while back have an extension male/female cord that fits the jack perfectly. I purchased a second one (I use my original with my headphones and wanted a second for my car) for $7 by contacting shure's parts department.

Anyone have any photos of the Verizon case? I got one - can't remember who makes it - and I like the feel and most of the fit, but the front edges stick out a little "tall" from the screen and kind of get in the way of the touchscreen. The good part about that is that it protects the screen very well when place face down, but typing/selecting things at the edge of the screen is a little tough. The other thing I like is that the camera is now not touching the desk when laying on its back - is the VZW case like that?

The VZW silicone case is great. It is the slimmest case I've found so far, that also offers protection.

Bundy -- there is a very slight lip around the screen if that is what you're referring to. I haven't had any problems with it getting in the way of using the touchscreen or the optical pad. The silicone case baaaarely clears the camera, so the camera itself does not rest on a surface when the phone is set down. If the case were any slimmer, the camera would stick out. No complaints on the case here.

Verizon did. The silicon/plastic one that's Black to Red is very sleek. I've gotten quite a few comments on it.

to clarify, the silicone VZW cases that people are referring to are the ones that only come in red, purple/clear, and white/clear, correct? really wish they had a black -- i'm astonished that they don't since it's the color of the phone!

No, they have black. Click the Enter location link above which brings you to the High Gloss Silicone Protective Cover page. It has red and black as an option under the Pick Color header.

Edit: You're referring to the hard Snap on Cover, which does only come in red, purple/clear, and clear.

I have it but I wouldn't consider it high end, it's just OK. I also don't care for the high gloss finish.

The leather wrapped Verizon case is very thin compared to the body glove. I had both then sold the body glove once the leather wrapped case became available.

i'm waiting for justin to get his incredible epik case in stock. these are the only cases i used on my blackberry and i like them a lot - doesn't add too much bulk, cheap, fast delivery (2-3 days in the us) and doesn't stretch. i just hope he gets them sooner than later.

The reviews I've read for the Seideo Innocase (for other phones) always mention how it adds very little bulk to the phone. That is what I'm waiting for.

Wow I spent months looking for a case for my Droid that looked like that something that covered the moto logo and had no logos on the case itself now I don't have my droid lol sucks..I hope the incredible ones are nice or ill just order from seidio

Seems that anything related to the Inc involves a frustrating wait!
- we waited months for the specs to be confirmed, then the release data, then the phone itself
- now we're waiting for Steinheil screen protectors and Seidio cases to become available!

The VZW accessory items are not very impressive vs the best of breed stuff that will be coming along,,,,,,,who knows when. Good thing we've had plenty of enforced wait training.

I saw this leather one in the store the other day and it felt really nice, but it is thicker than the silicone one I'm using.

I'm not buying/trying another case until after I decide if I'm going with a bigger battery that will thicken up my phone and render all these current cases useless....

Well considering Incipio just released a case for the Moto Droid, I wouldnt hold out on waiting for them. They take for ever if its not a Apple product.
