Help Galaxy Tab A - Deleting Old Files

Fairly new Galaxy Tab A running Android 6.0.1. I installed the Times & Sunday Times app and recently realised it retained all old editions of the newspaper to a total of nearly 3 gb. I tried to delete them but couldn't find a way to do it. In desperation I uninstalled the app.

I can now see the data in Settings / Data Usage. The first item has an Android symbol and a title 'Removed Apps & Users' 2.92 gb. I still can find no way to delete it. Please advise.

You could try reinstalling the app then go to the App Manager in Settings. Find the app and see if the data shows up in App data and Cache. If so, you should be able to delete it there.

Thank you. I should have said that I had already re-installed the app and the data still only shows up in 'Removed Apps & Users' as before.

Have you tried using the stock file explorer to see if you can locate and delete that way?

Download SD Maid and run it. Should clean out everything.
