I literally downloaded that app to use with my HTC m8 highlights. Like 3 days ago and enjoy it. Hope it doesn't get ruined.

As for ruined ... by definition ... if it is owned by Cheetah Mobile and you are still using it ... you are shooting yourself in the foot.

Functionality won't change (probably), but they'll add excessive permissions paving the way for data mining and stealing your personal info to send you ads etc.
