Does anyone know any other models of ZTE phones who's cases will fit our phone? I found a couple cases I like including one with a built in screen protector but I'm not sure if it'll fit the phone

If you go to Amazon and type ZTE ZMAX PRO CASES you'll see a pretty big list. I ordered two from different makers. They're going to arrive tomorrow.... and I'll let you know what I think of them. There's a clear case that's pretty cool.

I don't think the headphone jack would line up correctly on that one. The volume buttons and power might not line up either. I just realized that the seller of both cases I ordered removed ZMAX PRO from the compatibility list on the cases I ordered. So, I may have ordered two non functional cases. Jeez.

But I have seen cases listed as compatible with both Grand XMAX 2 and ZMAX PRO. So, maybe the cases are interchangeable. The cases I ordered are still listed as being compatible with Grand XMAX 2... so I guess I'll find out tomorrow. If they're interchangeable between those two phones... that case you're interested in might work. I'll let you know if my cases fit tomorrow.

I've been keeping my eye out on Amazon but most of the Zmax Pro cases for sale so far seem bulky, either medium-thickness gel cases or big two-piece affairs. I'm hoping some slim cases will pop up soon, something like the ultra thin stuff Spigen sells. I've got one for my 6 Plus work phone and it's really nice, doesn't add much bulk.

That one actually seems to work well.

I'll be keeping my eye out for those low profile, slim gel cases. I like those the best. They don't add much to the size and help with grip. They are smooth and don't snag on my pocket lining, and yet non slip to the touch. They are great for minor drops and remove the threat of scratching, but not anything more than that.

Thanks. Nice video that's the exact case I was looking at. My only concern was thinking it was going to line up properly because of that little spot on the back you talked about. Made me think it was for a completely different phone that might have had the buttons in a different spot.

I ordered two cases from Amazon that the seller had listed as supporting the ZMAX PRO, but after I ordered, the description was changed and ZMAX PRO was removed from the description. They appear to be made for the Grand XMAX PRO 2. They almost fit.... but they do not work. The fingerprint scanner is partially blocked and the case isn't quite deep enough. I have to return these Do not order Grand XMAX 2 cases for the ZMAX PRO, unless it specifically says it will support the XMAX PRO. Frustrating... I ordered these last week and was really looking forward to getting them.

It looks like they made it to be compatible with both the grand x max 2 and the zmax pro. That is why it has speaker openings both on the back of the phone and on the bottom also.

Yeah seems like it. Which I understand why they would do that make a case compatible with multiple models some themselves some production cost.

Just got my email from metro about getting the free case. Filled it out. So I guess I'll get my free one soon but still want one for the time being plus can't hurt to have more than one case laying around.

Same here, but since I bought mine on 7/30 its a toss up whether or not I'll actually get the free case.

I have a hybrid case with a portrait kickstand.. My favorite for all my phones.. Especially if you watch a lot of Netflix etc on your phone.. Good to prop up both ways.. And I have dropped several times already.. No problems.. Makes phone heavier tho.. Got off of amazon..

Now that is the kind of case I like. Nice find!
