I also ordered a fast wireless charger from Samsung directly and got it today. Nice, sleek, black wireless charger for my nightstand... with a WHITE power cord! WTH???

You can rest assured that I sent a strongly-worded email to Samsung about that. Can no one at Samsung coordinate colors?



EDIT: I contacted Samsung and yes, it was a mistake and was supposed to come with a black cord. So they're sending me a shipping label and processing the order for a refund. Good thing, too: I found the exact same charger, certified refurbished, on Amazon for half the price!

Ordered my Samsung wireless charging stand from Target today. Theirs are on sale for $41.99 and then subtract 5% for my RedCard which I didn't use as I had a gift card. Plus free shipping. Totaled $41.88 including tax and will be here by the 15th. I'm getting excited.

So, I was watching an unboxing video, and they mentioned Samsung providing an OTG adapter in the box! I wonder if that's exclusive to outside of the US or if that'll be for all Note 7 purchases. If so, that's pretty awesome.

No. At the :37 mark, they show an OTG adapter. That USB C on one end and then full USB (female) on the other. It's so that you could transfer data from the phone to a drive or memory stick on the go.

I honestly have used OTG adapters more than plugging into a computer because it seemingly transfers data much quicker, when backing up everything on the internal storage. And also seems to pick up the files/folders that sometimes don't get picked up, when copying over while connected to a computer.

I got my charging stand from Target today and the stand was black but the cord and plug were white. The box actually showed it that way! Wondering now if they all are that way.

Very nice... just know that it's a wireless charging pad and not a FAST wireless charging pad. As long as you're not in a hurry, that's a nice, stylish charger!

Just received this last night though original ship date was for September delivery. Looks and works great!! Fast charged my Note 5 up in no time. Great for night stand use. You can use this in portrait or landscape mode which is not the case with some other chargers. @The_Chief It's black and mine also came with a white USB cable geez! Though, I like it so much I think I'm ordering a second one.

So, out of all the cases I purchased, I only like one of them,which keeps the phone as close to the small size as possible. If anybody is looking to purchase a case, I'd be willing to sell for cheaper than retail. I won't likely have time to post pics, but will do that when I am back from vacation.

FoxFi. per FCC ruling, carriers cannot block 3rd party tethering/hotspot apps. I have unlimited data, so I paid for the FoxFi key and haven't looked back.

I have this case, its nice and you can charge wireless through it. I dont think it offers an incredible amount of protection though. but nice indeed

So, after purchasing multiple cases, knowing it's highly likely that only one (maybe 2) of them will fit my liking/needs, it ended up being the .99 ultra thin tpu (0.3mm thick) case which was my favorite. I was really hoping that the "ultra thin" VRS case w/ integrated kickstand would work for me, but it just made the phone feel way too thick for my liking. So, as a solution, I decided to try the Universal Spigen Kickstand, to add onto my ultra thin tpu case and it is pretty awesome. Very low profile and after trying different areas of placement on the case, I finally settled for placing it right under where the camera is. Makes for perfect placement when in the OEM Samsung fast wireless charging stand and also acts as a marker, for where my finger is placed, in relation to the camera. In addition to that, if I set the phone down flat on my desk, it raises the top portion of the phone just enough, so that I won't have to worry about the camera lens hitting that surface. It's also strong enough that I can do something that I hadn't done since having the original EVO w/ kickstand (wimax Sprint...ugh). I used to use it all the time, as an additional phone holding helper.

Now, I'm just waiting on my custom Skinit skin to deliver and I should be set on accessories (for now).
