Help How to disable sound no matter what application runs?

I did set my android phone volume to "None" indefinitely. It says that even alarm would not be played. However, when I opened game or music application the sound is still played.

What should I do so that my Android phone will not emit any sound at all?

I am using 5.1 Android.

Settings>Sounds and Notifications >Sounds>Mute

If you don't want it to make a sound, why are you opening the Music App? You're confusing it.

A guy goes to the Doctor and says "Doc, it hurts when I do this."
Doctor says "Well, don't do that."

In the settings you'll have to set Media volume to 0 as well.

Lol. I miss clicked music application during a meeting. It scared me off.
Your solution does not solve my problem. I did mute everything in the setting, checked games and music apps still have its sound on.

Yes. I set EVERYTHING to 0, including the media. But games and music applications still have sounds on.
