A review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 calls it the most advanced phone yet, with refinement on the previous model combined with innovations like iris scanning being a winning combination.

That never stopped Apple. [emoji14] AFAIK the iPhone is still the best selling smartphone.

No. Just, no.

Frankly I thought Samsung brought back SD in their new flagship devices, like S7. Nothing to do with Google. FWIW Just about all current Chinese Androids have SD, again nothing to do with Google. I've never tried Xposed, no need for my uses.

I bought galaxy phones back then because they were easy to tweak and had the advantages of removable and upgradeable batteries and SD slots. It was easy as sin to restore an early galaxy phone if you flubbed something because it was so open.

It's no secret Google hates as cards, given how royally they screwed over the Android OSs ability to even access it, much less read and write from/to it. All to make it easier to brick a new phone.

Credit where it's due, the iPhone is dead easy to jailbreak and undo a jailbreak with. But, that's beside the point.

Their hard-on for this NFC pay crap has led to design choices that ruined the brand for me.
