Help Add a spedometer with Google Maps?

so i used google map for the first time last night to drive from tampa to north carolina. i was actually very impressed on how the system worked. is there a way to view your current speed in google maps without an external application ?

I was hoping that it did, but I don't think it does. I hope a future update will include a speedometer that interacts with ETA. Oh, and a real voice instead of that computer voice!

Speed View is an app I use now, and it shows your current speed and a line graph for trend. It also shows highest speed achieved and miles traveled. I just wish there was an app that would allow integration for the speedo.

I use GPS Test Plus. You can try GPS Test for free, the plus version I think just adds different views. You can pick from several color combinations to match your car's interior.
