Samsung Note 7 for Business Transaction

Hi. So we just purchased a Samsung Note 7 and it's intended for business use. In additional to that, we just found out also that you can download an app similar to Apple Pay and we wanted to use it as well for our accepting payments. We're already decided to use the Samsung Pay but in case there are other mobile payment options that we can consider, please let feel free to suggest. Thanks.

honestly speaking, i am not quite familiar with Samsung pay. I'd rather use Apple pay since it is already accepted in a lot of stores.

on the other note, should you be returning your Note 7? I've seen on the news that it is being recalled.

We just availed a mobile processing solution that accepts both Samsung pay and Apple pay so all is good..

YUP!!!! I'll be returning the Note 7 cause of the recall.. The phone working fine though and I'm liking the features.. but you'll never know, it's better safe than sorry they always say..

The recall is almost over now, with replacement Note 7s scheduled to be at retail locations no later than Wednesday the 21st. Whether or not Samsung can meet that schedule remains to be seen, but I look forward to swapping out my Note 7 for a... less flammable one

Anyway, I had an opportunity to briefly try Samsung Pay and found it to be far superior to Android Pay. Samsung Pay works at just about any magnetic strip terminal... and no more inserting my chip Visa into the terminal! Just swipe a finger, hold my Note 7 to the terminal, and DING! I'm outta there with my stuff!

Well crap.......... I get "not compatible with your device" for Samsung Pay...

Apparently it requires a specific range of devices, or a higher level of OS than 4.4.4
Eligible Devices
Samsung Pay is currently available on the Samsung Galaxy Note7, S7, S7 edge, S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note5.

gonna break my heart I guess, I have yet to ever use an app to pay for anything

I think mine is compatible. Although I've been using Wechat Wallet/Ten Pay over a year now, and often at places that don't even accept credit cards.
