Rucksack Cover

Lights

I already have lights and a high viz vest, but walking home from town seeing other cyclists made me realise that even with that gear on, I'm still really hard to see when I'm on my bike in the dark. The bag cover may make me look like a squeb, but I'd rather be seen than not.

Good man! Can you believe I saw someone running along a twisty back road the other evening, in dark running kit, absolutely no high viz. I hope that guy is still alive!

My wife only has one leg, and the remaining foot had the toes amputated recently.
The wound is not yet healed and the doc says "no weight on that foot"....

so, how to get from bed to wheelchair, to everywhere else one needs to go?

You get help, a slider board is specifically made for this purpose.
Sit on the disc and slide across the board.

Google Home. Three of them.

I had pre-ordered them on Walmart.com with a delivery date of November 9th. Well, yesterday I was at Walmart and asked the (very snotty) Associate about my order. He said that the truck comes in late in the afternoon. Okay, says I, you have 5 on the shelf out there. I'll take three off the shelf, go home with them, and when my order gets off the truck later you can put them on the shelf to replenish your stock.

He refused! I was expected to come back when MY three got unloaded! No problem: I cancelled my pre-order and bought three off the shelf. No skin off my a$$...

;)

I very shamefully and stupidly decided to purchase a new Microsoft Lumia 650 with Windows 10, an armored case and screen protector...ready for the irony in buying all that? Well on the 3rd day of ownership, i went to remove the back plate to install a larger SD card, and they made the phone so thin there is apparently NO room for ANY flex...because the LCD screen cracked underneath of the glass. I have never, ever had a pbone break in my hands while sitting down....and now they are trying to make me pay a deductible that is pretty much what i paid for the phone...the Android gods really did not like my OS betrayal I guess....

That stinks! I would say taking the back off constitutes normal use and shouldn't invalidate a warranty. I'd push it up the customer service ladder if I were you. Of course, you may not get anywhere, but I've had warranty run-ins with big companies in the past and usually you have to complain until you're blue in the mouth.

Yup, you need to get past the initial customer service denier, at least.
