If so, I have felt bad for you for a long time. Now I am suddenly filled with jealousy and envy. If you're a T-Mobile customer and even DEBATING whether or not to get this phone you have to be nuts.

GET IT. You can always get another phone afterwards... or even exchange this one if it sucks. And trust me I seriously doubt it will suck.

I am and have been for almost 2 years. I have never had any issues, ever. T mobile still has great customer service and the only reason they didn't get the JD Powers was because former disgruntled customers left for Iphones. The joke's on them now. T mobile has better 3g prices including a dirt cheap unlimited data plan, combine it with uma calling, that qwerty keyboard, the gps, not to mention all the sick applications that will be available and created for this phone add that great customer service... it's a winner.

I have been a T-Mobile customer for 4 years now. When i have had issues in the past their CSRs are always helpful and have always given discounts and credits. I have been kind of disappointed with their phone selections, seems if your not a blackberry or sidekick fan the best phone they have is a Wing, which is the phone i have now. I just became eligible for the handset upgrade and glad it fell right around the time of this new phone. I have been following forums, where they are trying to get Android running on the Wing and was going to buy an unlocked AT&T Tilt because Android is already running on top of WM6 on the Tilt. Now i don't have to buy a $300 non-supported phone for T-Mobile, I hope the pricing i seen was correct, $150 for pre-orders, $199 for release? I know either way its a 2 year agreement. But i am fine with that! Viva-la Android!

I am also a T-mobile customer. I was actually pondering whether I should leave T-Mobile for the I-Phone but the main thing that was holding me back was how much I enjoy T-Mobiles service and HATE ATT/Cingular I'm SO GLAD i didn't leave when the 3G was released and hopefully the dream is release in October...do you think I will have to wait outside overnight for this phone?

I have been a T-Mobile customer for years and have never had a problem with them. I am a HUGE fan of Apple Products, and have been for a long time now, even before they got really popular, and have been craving an iPhone so bad. At one point, I thought of leaving T-Mobile for AT&T, just so I can use an iPhone, but I decided to stick with T-Mobile. Im very happy with my T-Mobile plan. Only payed 75$ and used it for 32,000 minutes last month. :D

or get it sim free, since the OS is open source i'd say it'd be even easier to unlock! (for the guys who know how) since it look's like these guys will be the only mobile operators to offically support the HTC Dream when it comes out Thttp://www.openhandsetalliance.com/oha_members.html. The good news is ,for ppl who don't like this phone, LG, Motorola and Samsung are also part of the alliance.

i have been a tmobile customer for 7 years now( back when they were voice stream) and they have the best service in my opinion because i have always been buying unlocked phones that are way better than any sh*ty US phone. and they work better, i had a sony ericsson p910 that gave me free internet when i went on it instead of the old WAP. plus i travel a lot and it just uses other carriers in other countries.
they are just a very open company, perfect for the android.

I am a T-Mobile customer since March or April this year, the company where I first had the contract was bought up by T-Mobile.

Well nothing to complain, had good coverage here, only problem is that I live next to the Belgium border and they have the Mobistar, BASE networks and sometimes I get them on my phone, and they are very expensive to call with...

I've been with T-Mobile since 1999 back when they were still Voicestream Wireless in the Seattle-area. Wow. I'd have been with them for nearly a DECADE! hahah

Damn , i got you beat. i've been with tmobile since it was Aerial and i almost went to the At&t not only for the iphone but because i also get a 19% coorporate discount. I gotta see this phone but i dont like the Key Pad thus far. it should be full touch. Wait and see.

Ive had T-Mobile since they first came to the US. Ive always stuck it out with them, even when they had terrible service and data connections. Ive been tempted into going to the ATT route cause of thier 3G network, but now that we get the G1, they more than saved themselves a customer.

I'm up there with you fogeys. Been with T-Mo since 2000, and yeah, by the time I end this new contract I got for the G1 it will be a decade.

I <3 Tmobile :) they always have the best service :)

One of my brothers is on Sprint - they suck! Service was insanely low and would drop uncontrollably.

My other brother was on Cingular, then it merged to ATT/Cingular, now its ATT... - they suck too.. they like to OVERCHARGE and add HIDDEN fees.

Friend of mines was on Verizon - cool thing about it is the text/pic/message services and tv input.. other than that, they suck!

I have been Tmo customer since the VoiceStream days. I have no problem with Tmo and plan to activate another number (home) with them soon. I have tzones for email and have a $4.99/mo charge to do so. Very reasonable. I can tell you that when the news of the G1 surfaced and Tmo, HTC and Google were mentioned as the partners..I was very happy. Tmo is bang for the buck. HTC is an innovative hareware manufacturer (Touch Diamond minus the Windows Mobile OS would be my dream device)..and Google, practices application development the way the web meant them to be. Add a open source and huge developer community and this is it. I'll be staying with Tmo no matter what device I end up getting next.
