Does CM13 come with a visual voicemail app of any kind. When I upgraded my Ring Plus from their ad driven delayed model to their Mad Plan that uses native sprint for voice and voicemails everything works great I am just not getting their sms notifications of a new voicemail. I did not alter the RingPlus APN setting I had. Calls are great no lag, data is same speeds, just need to wither find a way to get their sms notifications or maybe there is a sprint voicemail app somewhere I can install. playstore does not have on and all the other visual voicemail app require that carrier can forward messages, which RingPlus native sprint can't.

I did find this https://community.sprint.com/baw/message/371747 but I think I need a voicemail app in order to follow that procedure.

Does CM13 come with a visual voicemail app I sure dont see it.

thanks

Ok so I think I need the original Sprint Visual Voicemail apk that comes with the Sprint version of the Volt. I have the Boostmobile version with CM13 bta on it. Could one of you with a Sprint Volt extract the Sprint Visual Voicemail apk and either post it here as a link or send it to me on email ? Thanks

I was going to add that I can't get this to work on stock Moto X Pure android, and I used my OWN .APK from my volt. So I don't think you would have any better luck on CM13

I have 2 phones with ringplus MAD plans (sprint direct routed calls, and it uses sprint voicemail that you can't turn off.)

The LG Volt I was surprised that the visual voicemail works! The stock application is visual voicemail from smith micro, and it was called com.coremobility.app.vnotes-cd5b1bef86e3fb35cca8d74b5bf43495.apk

I backed it up and installed it on my Moto X Pure (stock android 6.01), but the voicemail app can't verify the account. Such a bummer!

SO, I tried installed the .apk that is posted on this thread. I can get into the app, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Do I need to do something with the .odex and .systag file?

I'm running the debloated volt stock rom, but I must have deleted all the voicemail apps since I was previously using ringplus and relying on their voicemail. Now I actually need to use sprint voicemail, go figure.

I have been able to get voicemail working on all my rooted devices following the voice mail setup procedure and voicemail.apk file from this XDA post http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...sprint-users-rejoice-darklord-modded-t3498912
Unfortunately the link to the .apk doesn't work (site can't be reached error). I tried that method mentioned with 3 other apks, but for some reason it never sends. It will come up with the message
"Unsent messages
1 message couldn't be sent. Check to see if you have a connection and try again."

I've also gotten
"Account verification error
Communication with the Voicemail-to-Text server has times out. We will continue to verify your account status in the background.

Voicemail server will not be interrupted while we verify the account status."

I've tried it both with wifi on and then just data on and that's not the issue. Wondering if I'm going to have to re-install the ROM. I really don't want to deal with that hassle but I just cannot get voicemail to work.

Personalize button does nothing. and when click to update get
"General failure. Please try again at a later time"

Ugh....

Just a guess, I can't test since RP ditched voicemail on my plan
Code:
ro.product.model=LGLS740
ro.product.brand=lge
ro.product.name=x5_spr_us
ro.product.device=x5

I think the only one of those that isn't set "correctly" in CM13 is ro.product.name

Basing this on https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...s/modded-sprint-visual-voicemail-apk-t2994978
That is exactly what I have in my build.prop file. Now I'm really confused. Is there an additional .apk that is needed for voicemail? Maybe I need something else.

Okay so my wife, who is also on Ringplus, has voicemail and just switched to Lineage 13. She had voicemail activated on stock beforehand, so maybe that makes a difference. But in any case, I installed the stock voicemail app on Lineage and at first it gave the authentication error, but after a minute it seemed to activate itself. You might also need to receive a voicemail for the app to sync up with the server.
