its too bad evo is right around the corner because i just starting loving my hero all over again. here's just a few things you have to look forward too that you may not get out of a youtube video...speaking of youtube, it works again! yay...also the app market got a makeover for the better. each app has up to 4 screen shots showing what it looks like. also, it feels like downloading was smoother and you could continue to bowse while its installing...atleast not as much lag as before. the overall phone runs much smoother and snappier. the texting is still not 100% snappy, but its much better...also during the vibrate of each text, it feels like the strength of the vibrate decreases the more you type...i dont know if thats a strategy or an error...i barely notice it and im sure its just to save battery...uuummm...youtube window looks very clean, menus are more vibrant and sleak, when listening to a voicemail theres more options and the contacts picture...the android music widget is black instead of that off white...

i havent noticed the interacive backgrounds yet, dont even know if it will work...all in all this update makes the phone truely how its supposed to be and eliminates a lot of things that may frustrate you nnow. i did my update using a video from a previously posted thread with a video...id say backup your stuff and go for it...it literally took 5 minutes.

the hero is now an actual hero

if uve updated feel free to add to this either way...

I agree with the review.

The only issue I have is not being able to get all the apps I once had, Market has some issues with apps not showing. I read somewhere that it will be fixed once the official update is released and the keys are registered or something...so if that issue does clear up I say all in all I'm satisfied but not "blown away" with this update.

may be moot now, but my phone was still factory with latest updates...another thing i forgot to mention is now the market has "top paid app" and "top free apps" which is a plus i guess...theyve also added one new background lol...all in all its a snappier more polished version of the original...dont expect an xp to w7 like experience...
