Anyone have the tapatalk apk?

Can someone confirm Tapatalk works with 2.1? If so, any chance someone can post the apk? It isn't showing up in the market, and I don't see a link here.

I never paid for it, so am only "entitled" to the RO version, btw.

It's an app that presents forums though an app UI, versus the browser. The only kicker is that the forum has to have a plugin installed for it to work. Androidforums.com has the plug-in.

I tried Tapatalk, but I can't save this forum...the HTC Droid Eris. I can only save the main android forums page and then I have to select HTC Droid Eris every time I want to get inside here. Is there a way to get here faster? Thanks.

Right now, i just use a bookmark shortcut to get into here with the phone's web browser. It's not as nice as Tapatalk, but I get here right away.

FYI,

Posting of root folders that have the paid version of an android app is a big no no. If it was done unintentionally then ok, no harm done since I deleted the post, but if done intentionally, mark my words, next time will result in a permanent ban.

If Tapatalk doesn't support the forum that you wish to visit, you have to contact those in charge of that forum, and ask them to "activate" tapatalk.

Well you see, since I have the leak it does not show protected apps in the market and Tapatalk is protected so it does not show.

Let me see if I can be a bit more clearer in what I am saying. The poster put up a link that led to the root folder which contained the paid app. Anyone accessing it can get the paid app for free, this is a no no and not allowed. i am assuming its was done unintentionally so I did not perform any action other than remove the link. If it was instead for the unpaid version, I would not have bothered to remove the link.
Member are allowed to post up links to files or the files themselves providing its not the paid app. It would not be fair to the developer nor would it be fare to place AF in jeopardy by allowing such actions.

Hope I'm clear and did confuse anyone even more. lol

YAY!! i can help cableguy ok not really do a notification from tapatalk itself but if you have the notifications through your email works just as good
