Accessories Anyone try this case yet?

I was just curious if anyone tried this Amzer case with the Incredible yet? I ordered the phone yesterday and I'm still trying to decide which case to order. I only found one youtube review and I haven't seen any posts about this case in particular yet. There are so many choices out there...it's tough to decide just based on a picture.

Personally, I will probably never use a hard case again after the one I had on my Versa. My phone froze and I needed to do a battery pull but I couldn't get the case off. Eventually I did but it was at the expense of my fingernails and the case was pretty bent out of shape.

I have the body glove hard case and I've had it off at least 10 times to show the thickness of the device to ppl and it has not showed any signs of warping or bending.

I believe that is identical to the hard cases offered at the verizon retail stores. its just the clear version. I didn't like it at the store and got the silicone case at the verizon store which I believe is also amzer. I've been very happy with the silicone case so far and nothing has broken from a fall or two.

Ah that's strange because I came across a youtube video and some kid had it. Coming from a BB Storm... I'm not sure if I want to deal with the hassel of screen protectors on the Incredible. I realize that this case isn't "drop proof" and if I dropped my phone the case would most likely crack open. But I like the fact that as long as it stays in my pocket or in my hand, it's pretty much secure and scratch proof.

I'm just not sure if the hard plastic on the screen is going to take away from the phone itself. I know they have cases like that for the iphone but I never tried one of them personally. I wasn't sure if these were out yet...I assumed they were back ordered. I guess I will wait till it's released on the 20th to see what people have to say.

Good find on the video! I dont like the silicone casing because it covers up the buttons like he said in the vid. I have always been a fan of the clear case because it protects the phone and you can also see what it looks like rather than covering it up. Then again hard cases sometimes scratch the devise believe it or not. I had a case on my LG Dare since the day i got it and it would have never had a scratch if i didnt have the case that i did. I dropped my phone a few times and the case saved the pone completely but the gray plastic on the sides got scratched from it. So it is a give or take with the case, take a chance of scratches on the sides with good protection. Or get the silicone that wont scratch the device but covers the buttons.

I have the hard silicon case now and that is fine. For me it was just those hard cases where a front piece and a back piece snap together. These were third party cases as well not Verizon.

It covers the buttons and protects them, it also has buttons on the silicone that go through to the buttons underneath.. I actually find them easier to press than the original buttons without the case on. they are also great for keeping dust/water/lint out of them in your pocket.

Also the black one looks a lot better because you cant really tell what part is the case and what is the phone if you didn't know.

To each their own, I plan on getting a higher end case at some point but getting the black silicone is great for now since it was like $10..

i had the clear snap on case from Verizon just like the one you posted, it is horrible dust gets down into the sides of the phone bad. The case let stuff get in and scratched the left side of my phone. I then bought a silicone case from Verizon and zagg screen protector. Im very happy with these selections.

I used the same set up on my BB Storm and it just didn't feel protected sitting in my pocket like that. I was just hoping to come across something better. Maybe I will have to wait till case-mate or otter box comes out with a better product.

i honestly couldnt give a shit if the back of my phone got scratched... the camera lens maybe but it would appear to be scratch resistant based on my "use" of the phone. All i really card about is the screen... which is protected with meh zagg invis shield

I personally HATED it!! I ordered and it came before my INC came... I hated the way it felt in my hand. It felt like cheap a$$ plastic. When my phone came the next day I got the red silicone case from VWZ and sent the plastic snap on back to where it came from...
Also if you drop your phone you can probably kiss that case buh-bye...Or expect it to have a lot of blemishes.

I love the sillicone case, I'm just not a fan of red or black.

I'm waiting on the Amzer Baby Pink Jelly and a Amzer Silicone Purple Argyle Case. I'm not sure how I will feel about the Jelly so I'll try both out. Jelly wont ship until tomorrow and the Silicone one wont chip until Thursday.

I have a case that looks identical to that which I bought from VZW. When I first got it I really didn't like it that much but it's starting to grow on me. It does add a little bulk and I can't really decide if it looks tacky on the phone or not.

However, it's done a great job protecting the phone. I've unfortunately dropped my phone once already and the case helped absorb the blow to the wood floor. It also adds some depth to the screen so I believe it'd potentially help protect against screen scratches while bobbing around in your pocket if you don't have a screen protector.
