Root Error 131

Guys.

I have created my gold card, copied the rootedupdate.zip to the root of my SD card.

Switched the phone off, hold down the back button and switch on.

i then go through the process of updating the ROM , it gets the point of updating the signature and then i get a message

Error[131]:CUSTOMER ID ERROR

Any ideas?

I had this same problem yesterday. Was practically pulling my hair out trying to figure what I had done wrong.

Turned out that, for some reason, the goldcard image data that must be copy and pasted into the sd card hadn't pasted properly in the hex editor. Line 0000 was different from what it should have been.

I had a completely different error (a usb conenction error, 170!), yet, at my wit's end, I tried this.

I'll almost certainly come across mroe problems, but you got me past a stumbling block I'd been stuck at for a good hour or so. thank you very much.
