App management on screen

So have you hidden some of them from the drawer? Some launchers allow that.

Otherwise at least give us some examples of the missing apps - just knowing that you can't see some isn't much to go on.
after installation they were on the screen but 2-3 days later they disappeared and now I can open them only from play store example : netflix, onedrive, camscaner and etc

The launcher is the app that draws your desktops and app drawer. I assume you are using the one that came with your phone, since you don't seem to know what it is, but different manufacturers have their own. Since you've not told us what phone you have we can't know what features your launcher has either, but some allow you to hide apps from the app drawer. So the first thing I would do is check any settings that relate to the desktops and app drawer and make sure that you don't just have a bunch of apps hidden. If many apps have disappeared it's probably something to do with the launcher, but stock launchers often don't have as many controls as replacement ones.

Secondly, can you confirm that the apps are missing from the app drawer, that they've not been grouped into folders (some launchers allow folders inside the app drawer), and that you can still place icons for the "missing" apps on the desktop? If you can't do that last then that will tell us that it's more than apps just having been hidden.

Sorry it's all questions, but need to figure out what's happening before can work out answers. The more information you can give us the quicker we'll be able to do this.

it is phab2 - Lenovo, with android 6.0, dont know what launcher, can see only version, I'm new to android, will try to find as much as I can, what settings should I check? Can I install another launcher not manufacturer's one? I did not create any folders yet, that's why no app in the folders. How can I place icon from the missing app on the desktop? (except to reinstal )

I don't know Lenovo phones, so am not sure what options they have for this or where they would be. To give an example of how this varies, on my phone the settings Thom refers to are in Settings > Personalise rather than Settings > Home.

Pressing an holding a spot on the desktop is often a way of bringing up options such as adding apps.

If you open your app drawer, do you have a 3-dot menu icon at the top? If you do then that's likely to be where you will find options for hiding/unhiding apps if your launcher has that ability.

I do not have your device.

When you go into System Settings is there a Home area? This is where I select which of the launchers I have installed that I want active.

If yes - which is selected?

Settings on the phone is a list of options with a search button on the top,
wireless & internet... and lines like wlan, ethernet config, bluetooth, sim card....
then another submenu Device and options like: display, sound, special functions....
then option personal with sub: location, security, accounts, google....
option system with sub: date, scheduled power off, developer options....

pressing and holding home gives me options: widgets or wallpapers only, I enclosed screenshot of settings to another post
3dot menu on the drawer gives me options to sort or custom sorting or manage app, but no option to hide, manage brings app list with option for permissions or uninstall

If the question is how to fix it in Nova Launcher Prime, the answer is ...

Click the three dots.
Click search.
Start typing the name.
When the icon shows up for the app of interest ...
-- Long press on the icon
-- Drag it to Edit at the upper right corner.
Select one of the locations in the dropdown list.
Click done.
