What The Radio Shack EVO Pre Order Looks Like

Pre Ordered today. Here is what the contract looks like. You also get the $50 gift card (sort of acts as your deposit) that you can use toward the purchase price of the phone at pick up. At purchase you get another $20 card for accessories. I called Sprint prior to get my credit pre approved and a pre approval number.

Yes I had a big long register receipt also. I also have a copy of that.

+1 on the long receipt print out in which I signed in two places as well, no form like the one above, the receipt is actually stapled to my RS gift card

why is everyone geting there credit approved, are you not a sprint customer? I have never had a credit check on any sprint phones I ever ordered including the Pre

RS does it for you when they ask you for your info

Hmm...I never saw this form. I just got the gift card and big, long receipt. And there was no credit check. I am a current Sprint customer.

They give you 48 hours to pick it up or they will no longer "hold" it for you so you can check box Saturday and pick it up on Sunday.

Both places require you to pick it up within 2 days. Although I'm sure if you talk to a manager they can make an exception.

I wasn't shown that form at all I only signed the long receipt and they didn't do any type of credit check at all either. I don't understand why they would need to unless your creating an entirely new account or something.

They want to do the credit check or upgrade eligibility check before you put down the deposit, so they don't have people coming in to pick it up having an unexpected deposit they don't have the money for.

Considering a gift card cannot be refunded, though it can be used for other merchandise, you should want them to go ahead and do the credit check, just in case.

Yes its a good idea to do this. I called Sprint C/S and they ran the check and gave me an approval code good for 45 days. I gave Radio Shack the code and they were very happy that it was already done and they didn't have to do it. I will be opening a new account but porting my old number from Verizon to Sprint.
