And is it meant only for developers(in case your wondering im not a developer)? Also any ideas when paid apps will be available in canada? and when the heck will flash be available? and can apps be stored on the sd card. my dream is slow because apps are stored on the phone. and how do you force quit apps?

Hey, I have a few questions.

As of now (nov 8th, 2009) upgrades to 1.6 and 2.0 are not possible. In the states people have been saying that their wireless providers are offering over the air updates, but good old Rogers is a little slow, and I have yet to hear of anyone reporting that Rogers is updating over the air. That being said I would strongly suggest you install this (official) upgrade. It won't upgrade your phone to donut or eclair, but it WILL update individual apps, and make your phone better (the maps app is WAY better, battery life is better, phone is more stable, etc.)

And is it meant only for developers(in case your wondering im not a developer)?
Nah, this is for regular users

Also any ideas when paid apps will be available in canada? and when the heck will flash be available? and can apps be stored on the sd card.
I'm sorry I can't help you here, I REALLY want to get paid ups in Canada but as usual Rogers is way behind.

how do you force quit apps?
I use Task Killer...it's free

Hope that helps,

Mark
