I installed the Swype keyboard listed in this thread and can't get it to activate. I have it selected in the keyboard settings, but I still get the stock HTC keyboard.

I've had this same problem with every keyboard I've tried (Better, Shapewriter, etc.)

I've only had the Eris for about two weeks. It came with V1.5 and the first thing I did was upgrade to 2.1.

Any ideas? Anyone else experience this problem? It may be something real obvious and simple since I'm such a noobie to Android and the Eris.
