Samsung Clock app.

I played around with mine and disabled one and Forced Stopped the other two. Rebooted the phone after a few minutes and the ones I forced Stopped, restarted. It's not my daily driver so I don't mind experimenting.
You can try and see what affect it has and enable it if needed and do a restart.

Guess that was just a email alert.
Kinda got me stumped. Last thing I got would be to set a new alarm then delete it.
Hopefully someone more familiar with Samsung devices will chime in with a solution.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Tried setting and deleting when it first happened. Didn't work. Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it.

There is always the dreaded factory reset.
If it's that annoying and you don't mind the hassle of setting it back up.
It sucks that it is a system app and you can't uninstall/reinstall without root.
Package Disabler Pro at the Play Store will let you disable it and any other pre installed app that you can't normally disable. Might be worth checking in to but it's a paid app.

Thanks. I might look into that. I guess for now I'm just stuck with the icon until someone can come up with a solution.
