Sim reader issue ZTE Zmax pro

I have an issue where the Sim will disconnect for like half a second. Then reconnect. But I'll lose data connection for the same amount of time. But I've noticed that I can see the same glitch when I don't have a Sim in the phone. The place at the top of the phone. Where it  indicates my network I've already sent it to ZTE can someone tell me what the problem is

I have this problem also. When i changed my apn data options it helped but not completly. Lte/off/4g option instead of LTE.
A few zte models have thiis bug.
my zte zmax z 970 did this also.
Main reason zte isnt my daily driver. too many missed calls and text messages.

I made a thread about it on ZTE. It is like out of the blue this data connection failure. I did the same turn off lte and change apn but it is slow. The web browsing. And I have to download my text messages?!! Which takes a long arse time so I deleted the text without knowing what was said.

Ugh. I was told by someone there you have to eject sim and put it back.Wow.

Check your firmware version under system settings. I had the same problem out of the box with the B08 firmware. Once upgraded to B12 that problem was fixed.

I actually was on b14 and don't want to upgrade to b20 but was forced to update coz of that network failure. It works first coz I was able to read my text messages. And then it stop working again. Actually spotify always has network failure when I am on wifi. OR is slow to load.

My wifi and data is always off to save battery but I will try and leave both on today. See what happens.
