App to Mute Select Conversations?

Can anyone recommend an app to mute selected text conversations based on time of day?

I don't want to turn off all text conversations, just a few that are with people on the other side of the world who text me in the middle of the night. I just want to mute those conversations from midnight to 6 am. I need to let local conversations continue with full notifications so I can get text notifications from my kids if they have a problem.

The stock LG V20 app can't do this. Do some messaging apps do this? Or do I need to look for a specialized app?

This can be done in the stock text messaging app just tap the three vertical dots go to settings tap on message blocking and than tap blocked numbers. From there you can block numbers by yapping on the plus sign in the top right

Thanks drobined, but as far as I can see, that is straight blocking but you can't select blocking based on time of day. I think.

In that case do not disturb mode is your best bet
