I am currently running build version: 1.56.651.2 CL85027 release-keys , and i am having trouble updating my ROM. I am browsing through the HTC website, and arrive to the place where I am asked to input my S/N. I do this, and it gives the error saying "your device seems to be different from the selected" or something like that.
I definitely have an HTC Hero with Spring (made by google it says on the back)
BUT!, my fone looks completely different than the HTC Hero on HTC - Mobile Phones, Smartphones, Cell Phones, PDAs what does that mean? Mine looks exactly like this http://www.coated.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/HTC_Hero.jpg
While the HTC Hero on the htc website looks like this

Can anyone help point me towards the right direction in updating my ROM ? Any help would be much appreciated.
