RACKING my brain for why i see no updates in galaxy app store as others are pouring it on with updates. if i kill my cloud account and setup another, whats the liability in that. will device die, will i be arrested or will i have to restart my life. im sorry, my mom is about to pass on to heaven from cancer and i need someone who cares whos smart. help me. im tired of no updates not showing in galaxy app store.

No sir.it's the Galaxy store app.not google play.the galaxy app has to do with samsung clouds acts.

It is entirely possible that your credit or login to Google play store has changed or is corrupted. There should be no problems in updating your account and credit information.

What updates are you looking for?

The only updates I've had to any of the galaxy apps are the edge panel and something called "enhancements". Most of the other pre installed Samsung apps are updated via the Play Store.

christ sake i didnt even get enhancements. btw if you got update popup and wouldnt install it was error on Samsung part.for the life of me my galaxy app store is dead emty.nothing comes.

Just a thought, are you in the region or country that your S8 was intended to be sold and used in. Like it's not a grey import device, bought cheap online from Hong Kong or something is it? Because Samsung does geo-restrict their updates and stuff.

Grey import isn't illegal, but where exactly did you buy your S8 Plus, e.g. was it unlocked "international version" from Amazon? Maybe post the exact version that you have got, namely the CSC product code it's got, and we hope it's not a SE Asia version if you're in the almighty USA. Samsung definitely does geo-restrict update availability by country and region.

I'm thinking of known reasons as to why it might not be showing updates.
