Phone won't boot past logo

I have a question about my mom's phone. She has Lg L70, which isn't actually the best phone around but it's dual SIM and works for her, primarily because it's easy to use.
Anyway, phone worked properly for quite some time but won't boot past logo.
I looked up for different solutions online and tried different things to repair it but nothing works. It won't even connect to the computer or anything and yes it is fully charged. So, if you know any solution that could help feel free to let me know because teaching my mom to use a brand new phone will be a true hell :D

Do you know what happened to get it into bootloop? Was it dropped or did someone try flashing something? If it was dropped I would imagine hardware fault and probably just time to get a new phone.
Can you get into recovery? Think it will be (from powered off) hold power and volume down then release when LG logo comes up. If that doesn't work try again but press the power and vol - again immediately after releasing source. If you get into recovery you can try a factory reset.
If that doesn't work you can try re flashing firmware using LGUP

I just got into recovery and followed instructions. It says Factory Reset Processing now. How long does it approximately take? Or this phone has stuck again haha.

After a factory reset the first boot can take upwards of 20 minutes and look like it's hung up. Be patient.

If it still gets stuck in a bootloop, try removing the sim card (s) and then boot into recovery, wipe caches and then factory reset again.
Will be patient and try to do what you recommended. I'll let you know what happens. Fingers crossed :)

Factory reset processing thingy is still there, for an hour. It shouldn't take this long, should it?

Agreed a firmware flash will eliminate the possibility of it being a software issue.
And will bring the device back to functional if it works.

The problem is that the phone doesn't even show up on the computer, connecting with the cable (and different ones were used) doesn't do anything.

If you are in download mode, you wouldn't see the phone pop up as you normally would. If you have adb (Android Debug Bridge) software installed on your PC then you can open a command prompt and type
Code:
 adb devices
and if it lists a serial number, you're phone is connected. Alternately you can open up device manager and look under the Android phone category, something like this:

Switch off the phone and switch it on by pressing volume UP + down and power button at the same time

It's power off then while holding volume up connect the phone to the PC while holding volume up.

Then the PC should detect it, if not then it's probably a driver issue.

Or it could be you need to reboot your PC. I had a client the other day and his G3 connected and flashed firmware.

The G2 on the other hand would connect and sit at ready in flash tool. A reboot of his PC and it flashed just fine.
