Hello everyone,
I bought second hand LG G3 d858hk few days ago, phone works like a charm, exept 1 thing, network.
1.When i'm using phone it gets 3g network, i have everything set up for 4g but never get it.

2.When i get a call , during it and few minutes after it, my phone gets only 2g signal.
I will give you all information you guys need, just to get this work, and will try anything.
Thanks

Are you in the US or Canada, and who's your carrier? Because dual-SIM phones are usually intended for sale and use in Asian countries, like China, India, Malaysia, etc. and so may not have the North American bands.

I'm from Serbia actually, and my carrier is Telenor, called them, they said it's all good on their side, so it gotta be the phone.

Think that's the problem. There's certain 4G LTE bands that are only used by some European carriers, and an LG that's apparently intended for Hong Kong wouldn't have them.

I'll check LG coverage in Serbia.

I could handle with 3g only but i'm more annoyed that when i call someone, my network goes 2g, and the next 5-10 minutes after call, then goes back to 3g

"d858hk" I presume you're not in HK (Hong Kong)

When I looked up the phone I did not realize the Hong Kong good eyes

I think the problem specifically is the phone doesn't have LTE B20 800MHz, which is used by carriers in Europe but not Asia, and so a HK version dual-SIM LG doesn't have it.

Me being in China, the mention of dual-SIM and "HK" caught my eyes straight away. :)

Sounds like the OP's dual-SIM G3 is a grey import into Serbia from Hong Kong.

If it had LTE 4G service, the network going to 2G during and after calls probably wouldn't happen, because of VoLTE.
