Charger connectivity

Hey all, I am using the zmp, I will plug the phone in, it will begin charging and it randomly makes the unplugged da ding and if the charge is below 15 battery saver will come back on, but the phones light flashes and charging icon is still in the battery icon. Not sure if it is still charging?

I have no idea what is going on, any ideas? As I can tell the port is good and I am using a new cable, the phone is also picky on what cable to use

Not related to your particular issue but my wife's zmp doesn't charge like it used too. When she is using her phone (browsing, Facebook) while plugged in normally the battery percentage would increase. Now the battery is decreasing while its charging. Her zmp only charges if the phone is off. No water or physical damage. Her phone is 4 months old.

We've wiped cache and data to no avail.
Anyone else experience this?

Try a different cable, my zmp does the same, I recently purchased 2 Iconic type c cables and the one I tried so far says it is charging but the battery continues discharge...

I will be running to Walmart to get yet another cable and new wall adapter as I got this phone last week with no cable or charger and I am using an LG 1.2amp charger

I've never experience this with my zmax pro but have on my cheap tablet. In fact I have resurrected it from the dead many many times. I call it my zombie tablet.

All I do when it does not charge is put it in the fridge. They say to put it on the freezer but I only did it once. Usually put it in the fridge for max half hour.

I am not trolling. Now my zombie tablet is actually charging good.

I would not recommend freezing or putting any electronic device in the fridge...

The insides will condensate when thawing or warming up and could cause water damage.

Back on topic, I went to Best buy and picked up a Samsung adaptive fast charger and cable bundle I will post results when I have them

Working after two cache deletes in recovery.
Why does one have to wipe cache/data to clear up issues on this phone? Annoying.
Glad i went with the stylo 2 plus. My wife is mad i referred this phone. She only likes the big screen.smh.

That is interesting, I wonder if it cleared out any other random issues? You will only know with time, and I am debating whether to go with another zmp, or just go with the stylo 3, I have 2 weeks to decide, and right now it is not looking good for the zmp

The zmax pro No Root (issues) outdated O.S. 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Stylo 3 plus Root pending .kdz release around October 2017 .7.0 Nougat
Stylo 2 plus Rooted Now .3 custom roms 6.0.1/ or 7.0 Three devs supporting including myself.
One dev has a Lineage O.S rom.
The other dev has a stock debloated rom
I have a Deodexed/Debloated rom with a custom boot.img.
