Sooo what kinda phone do I have?

Not sure where it's getting that from. I'll notify the app developer

<a href='https://androidforums.com/members/502462/' class='username' data-user='502462, @steve'>@steve</a> to take a look at this.
Lol thanks 😉 I feel like a ra-**** when it comes to rooting and all possible 'better-ings' if that could be a word... Lol but seen as how I'm what kinda phone I have ... I don't wanna risk the inoperable... Ya know..

A lot of manufacturers bring out banded phones with clever names for each carrier, but essentially are the same device. In order to keep the channels from becoming too fragmented, they could be combining all those into one 'class', but it's best to ask as the app is new and its *gasp* not perfect. ;)

When rooting, modding, flashing etc. always, always ALWAAAAAAAAYS use the phone's model number. Sometimes a Verizon model and Sprint model will have the same name but different numbers because the hardware isn't exactly the same. Samsung is the worst offender of this kind of confusion, but LG is no saint, either.
