Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has the best screen DisplayMate has tested

I wonder how long it can sustain that brightness? Not that I'd recommend testing it - these brightness boosts are only intended to be for brief periods.

The candle/light/AMOLED that shines the brightest, burns the fastest...

And I've seen quite a few burned Samsung AMOLEDs over the years in showrooms, where they're usually on full brightness for extended periods, like 24/7.

The YouTube Tech Guy has an interesting video on Note 8 battery life. He reports that with full brightness and WQHD+ resolution he got 9 hours 43 minutes of battery life and 6 hours 39 minutes of screen-on time (SOT) the first day. The second day he got 15 hours 44 minutes of battery life and 6 hours 53 minutes of SOT. Again, this was using the phone at full brightness with WQHD+ resolution.
